Townsend Humanities Lab

During the fall 2008 and spring 2009 semesters, OKAPI collaborated with the Townsend Center for the Humanities to conceptualize and prototype a virtual humanities laboratory to support interdisciplinary research and dialog. The virtual laboratory provides faculty, students and researchers with a collaborative environment for sharing documents, publishing events, collaborative authoring, and experimentation with new technologies and media. The platform also supports the use of emerging communication technologies, such as blogging, wikis, microblogging, and social networking.
