The students are moving along in their high definition documentation (HDD) processing training. Last week the students finished up their training with Cyclone 5.5, the software used to manipulate the point clouds collected by the laser scanner. The interns were also introduced to PTGui, a program used to process panoramic digital photos. The students will become more familiar with the two programs as they work to process the data collected from their individual sites. Along with processing the HDD data, the interns are doing additional research on their sites to contextualize their work. Each student is working on an individual site for the rest of the semester.
